A field at Lindley Hall Farm in Fenny Drayton, south west Leicestershire, marks the exact centre of England.

In 2002 Ordnance Survey geographically pinpointed the centre of England.

In June 2013 a plaque was attached to an up-turned railway sleeper to mark the position although an arrow indicates the centre is 150 metres to the East.
